The speaker for this webinar was Maulana Muhammad Shakirulla Rashadi, Khateeb o Imam, Masjid-e-Bilal, Bangalore-29, was hosted by BET COMPOSITE PU COLLEGE. The webinar was anchored by Madam Sayera Uzma, Lecturer, Dept. of Physics. Qirath was recited by Afeefa Mehfooz, former student of PCMB. IMPORTANCE OF ONLINE TEACHING IN PRESENT SCENARIO

A national webinar was organized by BET COMPOSITE PU COLLEGE for the topic of “IMPORTANCE OF ONLINE TEACHING IN PRESENT SCENARIO”.  The speaker for this event was Dr. Syed Burhan, Director of Huda National School, CEO of Cumin Technologies.  This event began with qirath by Madam, Ghazala Hashmath, Department of Deeniyath, welcome of the guest was done by Ms. Saubiah Shabbir Ahmed, lecturer, Department of English.   It was followed by a short story with a moral “It’s better to change yourself rather than changing the entire world”, he stated all about a king’s story where he described about the king who painted the entire city red, as he was allergic to other colours around him. He tried explaining the present scenario with many examples. The first example he used was about the stages of a butterfly, first stage is the stage of a caterpillar, second stage is the stage of Pupa, and the third stage was of a butterfly. He compared the human life of a person before lockdown, in lockdown and post lockdown.  He focused mostly about the topic mentioned for the webinar, that is, online teaching. He explained the value of classes to be conducted on online teaching. He clarified a few doubts pertaining about participation in online classes, how the environment for studying online should be created. A National Webinar on “Our responsibilities in present COVID-19 Scenario” was organised by BET COMPOSITE PU COLLEGE in association with BET SADATHUNNISA DEGREE COLLEGE. The speaker for this webinar was Mufti Iftikhar Ahmed Qasmi, President, Jamiat Ulama, A renowned speaker, Karnataka. The welcome for this event was done by Mr. Khalid Ahmed, Manager, BET Institutions. This webinar mainly focused on the precautions and measures to be taken during this pandemic situation of COVID-19. He cited many Hadees -e- Nabvi to make people understand this situation. There are many initiatives taken by him. His team is putting efforts in spreading awareness about this disease. He spoke about importance of taking necessary precautions in this distressing times. He also said that he and his team is making special arrangements of burying the bodies of those who died with Covid positive. First Parents Teacher Meeting

The parents’ and teachers’ meet for the academic 2020-2021 was organized on 22nd June 2020, on Microsoft teams. As it was the first interaction with parents since the year began. The parents were very much happy and interactive during the meeting. The online meet began with Mrs. Ghazala Hashmath, Department of Deeniyat, followed by a welcome speech by Madam Khateeb Rizwana Mubeen, Principal, by congratulating the toppers and the promotes for II PU students. The meeting was later continued by the staff secretary Mrs. Asma Siddiqua, Department of Sociology. She explained the concept of attending online classes regularly, and the necessity of clearing fee. In the meeting few of the parents were interactive and most of them were very much satisfied with the concept of conducting online classes. A webinar on 21st June, 2020 on “COMMUNICATION SKILLS” was hosted by BET COMPOSITE PU COLLEGE, Bangalore. Presented by Mrs. Vidya Kamath, Lecturer, Dept. II PUC English Examination was conducted on 18th June 2020

A precautionary measure was taken before the commencement of the examination postponed on 23rd March, 2020, by disinfecting the entire institution. The PU and the Degree Block was sanitized by the BBMP employees before examination that is scheduled to be held on 18th June, 2020. The examination that was postponed due nation- wide lock-down as a determination of the pandemic COVID-19 on 23rd March, 2020, was rescheduled on 18th June, 2020. The examination was conducted successfully with the strength of 600 students from various institutions. The following examination was conducted under precautionary measures.
