61st ‘Karnataka Rajyotsava’ day was celebrated with great vigour and grandeur at BET INSTITUTIONS on 1st of November 2016. The programme began with traditional and auspicious invocation to God Almighty. it was followed by welcome address by Mrs. syeda nazia hussain dept of ecocomics. Mr. Rizwan Arshad,MLC was the Chief Guest of the programme, Mr.Chandrasekhar principal vijaya college and other dignitaries. The students enraptured the audience with their delightful and adorable performances. The very enthusiastic students enthralled the audience with their grand performances.Students presented ‘Jana pada Geete’ that captured the spirit of the day. Mr.Rizwan Arshad spoke the beauty and simplicity of kannada language and encouraged the students to learn kannada. Mr.Chandrasekhar also emphasized on the importance of learning kannada, and distributed prizes to the students for kannada week event.The programme ended with the state anthem. The show was an educational journey for the students and an opportunity for the participants to show case the values and cultures of their resident state karnataka.
