Celebration of Children’s day and Hazrath Tipu Sultan’s birth Anniversary

Children’s Day celebrations and Hazrath Tipu Sultan’s birth Anniversary celebrations were celebrated together online through webinar organized on 14th of November 2020. The MC for this event was Madam, Sugra Begum, lecturer of Biology, Dept. of Science. The event began with a qirath recited by Afeefa Mahfooz, II PCMB, followed by a naat by Farhath Parveen, II PCMB. Welcoming was done by Sayyada Urooj Ammara Hashmi, I CEBA. To make this event more entertaining, videos about the importance of Chidren’s Day and Hazrat Tipu Sultan were played online. Elocution competition was organized for the students on the topic of Children’s Day and Hazrat Tipu Sultan. In which students from both the sections participated. The winners for Hazrat Tipu Sultan’s birth anniversary are, Zohra Fathima of 1st CEBA, who bagged first prize, Maheen from 2nd PCMB, bagged a second prize and Mohsina Akhtar of 1st HEPS bagged the third prize consecutively. On the occasion of Kannada Rajyotsava, the department of Kannada organized singing competition on 5th November 2020. The event was conducted online through Microsoft Teams around 1:30 PM. Inter class Naat Competition

On 27th October 2020, Naath Competition was organized in BET COMPOSITE PU COLLEGE. The competition was held as a part of Jashn-e-Milad-Un-Nabi (S.A.W) celebration .The competition was held online. The active participants included both the first PU students and second PU students simultaneously. The total of nearly 16 students from both the sections had participated actively. Among them around 3 students bagged a prize. PARENTS TEACHER MEET

Parents’ and teachers’ meet was organized on 21st September 2020, Monday, on behalf of reopening of college for students in offline mode. The agenda of this meeting was to receive the feedback of parents in scheduling offline classes. There were nearly 35 parents who had turned up for the meeting. out of them only 3 of the parents were willing to conduct offline classes. Most of them were in the favor of conducting online classes itself. They were requesting  for transport for students in case if the college will be conducting offline class. A national webinar in Urdu titled “Qutba on Muharram” was scheduled on 27th August 2020 through Microsoft teams app. The speaker and chief guest for this event was Maulana Muhammad Shakirulla Rashadi,Khateeb-o-Imam, Masjid-E-Eidgah Bilal, Bangalore. 74th INDEPENDENCE DAY celebration was organized in BET COMPOSITE PU COLLEGE. On this auspicious occasion the staff was informed to be dressed in theme based colours that depicted a national flag. A National webinar in Urdu titled “Qutba on EId ul Adha” was scheduled on 23rd of July 2020. The speaker for this webinar was Maulana Muhammad Shakirulla Rashadi, Khateeb o Imam, Masjid-e-Bilal, Bangalore-29, was hosted by BET COMPOSITE PU COLLEGE. IMPORTANCE OF ONLINE TEACHING IN PRESENT SCENARIO

A national webinar was organized by BET COMPOSITE PU COLLEGE for the topic of “IMPORTANCE OF ONLINE TEACHING IN PRESENT SCENARIO”.  The speaker for this event was Dr. Syed Burhan, Director of Huda National School, CEO of Cumin Technologies.  This event began with qirath by Madam, Ghazala Hashmath, Department of Deeniyath, welcome of the guest was done by Ms. Saubiah Shabbir Ahmed, lecturer, Department of English.   It was followed by a short story with a moral “It’s better to change yourself rather than changing the entire world”, he stated all about a king’s story where he described about the king who painted the entire city red, as he was allergic to other colours around him. He tried explaining the present scenario with many examples. The first example he used was about the stages of a butterfly, first stage is the stage of a caterpillar, second stage is the stage of Pupa, and the third stage was of a butterfly. He compared the human life of a person before lockdown, in lockdown and post lockdown.  He focused mostly about the topic mentioned for the webinar, that is, online teaching. He explained the value of classes to be conducted on online teaching. He clarified a few doubts pertaining about participation in online classes, how the environment for studying online should be created. A National Webinar on “Our responsibilities in present COVID-19 Scenario” was organised by BET COMPOSITE PU COLLEGE in association with BET SADATHUNNISA DEGREE COLLEGE. The speaker for this webinar was Mufti Iftikhar Ahmed Qasmi, President, Jamiat Ulama, A renowned speaker, Karnataka. The welcome for this event was done by Mr. Khalid Ahmed, Manager, BET Institutions. This webinar mainly focused on the precautions and measures to be taken during this pandemic situation of COVID-19. He cited many Hadees -e- Nabvi to make people understand this situation. There are many initiatives taken by him. His team is putting efforts in spreading awareness about this disease. He spoke about importance of taking necessary precautions in this distressing times. He also said that he and his team is making special arrangements of burying the bodies of those who died with Covid positive. He spoke about how almighty has brought the countries on knees for those who used to think themselves as superpowers. He also said the value and importance of namaz and tilawat-e-quran.
