Bayaad-e-Josh, a cultural event, was organized by Bazm-e-Urdu, an organization working for the propagation of Urdu by organizing cultural event in UAE. The motto of this organization is to unite Urdu language lovers from worldwide. The competition was organized with pomp and show online. In which students from different countries had made an active participation. Throughout the end of this event, there were nearly 15 participants selected, among them were our blossoming students from BET Composite PU College. The department of Urdu organized “Urdu Day Celebration”, on 24/11/2020 on the eve of Sir, Allama Iqbal’s birth anniversary, which was on November 9th, but was celebrated on 24th November in our institution as we were running through pandemic. Though this event was scheduled online, it included two competitions altogether. Children’s Day celebrations and Hazrath Tipu Sultan’s birth Anniversary celebrations were celebrated together online through webinar organized on 14th of November 2020. The MC for this event was Madam, Sugra Begum, lecturer of Biology, Dept. of Science. The event began with a qirath recited by Afeefa Mahfooz, II PCMB, followed by a naat by Farhath Parveen, II PCMB. Welcoming was done by Sayyada Urooj Ammara Hashmi, I CEBA. To make this event more entertaining, videos about the importance of Chidren’s Day and Hazrat Tipu Sultan were played online. Elocution competition was organized for the students on the topic of Children’s Day and Hazrat Tipu Sultan. In which students from both the sections participated. The winners for Hazrat Tipu Sultan’s birth anniversary are, Zohra Fathima of 1st CEBA, who bagged first prize, Maheen from 2nd PCMB, bagged a second prize and Mohsina Akhtar of 1st HEPS bagged the third prize consecutively.
