The NSS unit of our college formally inaugurated its activities today (August 8th 2015). The Chief Guest for the function was Professor Khalida Nishat Parveen vice Principal and HOD of Sociology and Ex- NSS Officer Abbas Khan College for Women.
Chief guest in her powerful message urged the students to take active role in NSS programmes for a better tomorrow and on their role in nation building , provided effective instructions and guidance to NSS volunteers to attain the goal of National Service Scheme, appreciated all NSS volunteers who have shown concern towards helping people , relived memories of her college days and said that Time Once Lost will never come back, when a chance is given do the best to the society for a better tomorrow . NSS Programmer officer Mrs. Nazeerunnisa outlined the various activities planned for the academic year and gave the detailed information about on the NSS motto “Not me but you”
