The annual sports and athletic meet was held on Saturday 27th October 2018 with great zeal, excitement and frolicsome atmosphere. The programme began with the welcoming of the esteemed chief guests Mr. P. Jagajeevan Das Bhandari DDPU South Bengaluru South and ShreeRama G.K. Principal,Government PU College, Udi, accompanied by Mr. Shakeel Ahmed sir, Principal, Government PU College, Basavanagudi. Also the programme was attended by the working chairman of BET, Mr. Muheeb Sir, Honarary Secretary Mr. Mohammed Saifulla Sir, Mr.S. Mahaboob Ahmed Sir, trustee of BET institutions.
The students entered into the spirit of occasion by the impressive March Past while the chief guest took the salute from the four colourful groups i.e. red, green, blue and yellow. The parade was followed by the oath taking ceremony. And the events followed such as 100m race, 200 m race, 400 m relay race, short-put, kho-kho, throwball among various other sports activities.
The annual sports and athletic meet was a grand success and all the students participated and won many prizes for showcasing their sportive talents. The credit for such a grand preparation and organisation goes to the Physical Training teacher Mr. Kaleemullah Sir and the sports secretary Mrs Iffath Jahan, supported by the Faculty members of Bet PU College.
