A woman awareness programme was organized on the occasion of “Women’s day” from the management of BET Composite PU College. The chief guest for the day was Mr. Dada Hayath, Sub-Inspector, Sudguntepalya Police Station and the guest of honour for this event was Mrs. Sowmya, WPC (Woman police constable), Sudgunteplaya Police station. The anchoring for this programme was done by Mrs, Syeda Nazia Hussain, lecturer in Economics, the welcome address was presented by Ms. Saubiah Shabbir Ahmed, lecturer in English. The programme continued with felicitation done by Mr. Yahya and Mrs. Sumaiya Fathima, Campus director, BET Institutions. To add a topping on the cake, a song was presented to honour women’s strength and demeanor by Shabreen Taj, a student form PCMB. While Mrs. Sowmya inspired with her encouraging speech for the students.
