November 9th 2019 marks the birth anniversary of the Great Urdu Poet Moulana Altaf Hussain Haali In his memory “URDU DAY” was Celebrated at BET campus. The function was attended by the Chief Guest Mr. Mohammad manzoor alam sahaab chairman institute of objective studies ,new delhi. Guest of Honour Mr.Syed Shahid ahmed,Secretary Al-India Mili Council Karnataka. And Key Note Address by Mr. Mohammed Azam Shahid,Professor Government Degree College, Bangalore. The Programme was also witnessed by the chairman and management members .mr.R.roshan baig Mr,muheeb ahmed working chairman, Mr. Mohammed Saifullah Sir, Hon. Secretary, Mr. Mohammed Kareemuddin Sir, Trustee,Mr.shafiulla treasurer and Mr.mujeeb ahmed joint .secretary.of BET Institutions. There were many Cultural and Literary activities carried out in Urdu College report was read out by Mrs. Iffath Jahan, Urdu Department. Many programmes like drama, ghazal, nazam, and sher khwani were performed by the students and the day was made memorable.
